So right off the bat, I'm trying to figure out my competition. I'm ready what people are posting... the good, the bad and the not so smart and I'm doing this to try and figure out how people are going to play this game. The game hasn't started yet but it's easy to tell who can be trusted and who can't. Jonathan is someone I'm really interested in. Someone obviously doesn't like him and they're trying to freak him out by smiting him. Since he is aware that someone has it out for him, it already makes him look like a great ally or an easy first boot. Right now, I'm leaning towards the ally approach, since I like to be optimistic. The reason why I think Jonathan would be a great ally is simple: he knows he's a target, he knows someone is after him and he knows he has to fight to stay in the game. That's what I look for in an ally, a fighter. I know that if I team up with Jonathan, he isn't going to be someone who gives up and he's going to take charge. I hate followers in an alliance. If you're in an alliance, you need to bring something to the table and offer ideas. I'm going to try and talk to Jonathan later and just get to know him. I could be wrong, but based on what I'm seeing, he's someone that I should team up with. Brenda is another one who has made an impression on me. She's playing hardball already. She's trying really hard to make sure she's heard and make sure she's known. I don't know if I can trust someone like Brenda. She messaged me early and it was just random chit chat but you can tell she's already playing the game and I respect that. Personally, she doesn't strike me as someone who I'd have a lot in common with but I know that she's already playing the game. The largeness of this cast has me shaken up. I haven't played a game this big in a while and the contestants were no where near the same caliber of these guys. I'm definitely caught off guard but I'm ready to tackle this game. Put me in a tribe and watch me blossom. Sorry for the short confessional; they'll become more in depth as the game progresses.

So I picked my group. To be honest, the whole PICK YOUR GROUP thing caught me off guard; I wasn't expecting it. At the time, I was talking with Tom and he was trying to convince me to go with him. I didn't want to pick just yet but then Tom outright asked me if to join his group so we could work together. I wasn't going to turn down this offer. I like Tom and I like that he was straightforward about it.
Though, immediately after, I noticed a lot of other people join so maybe Tom's already working his magic on others.
That being said, I like my group so far. It has an old-school vibe to it. I wanted to join Sekou's team, originally, but since Tom asked me I joined his. I never was going to join group two. People were too eager to get on there. There are some alliances going 'round.

What are some alliances that you think are happening? Why did you want to join Sekou's tribe?

What are some alliances that you think are happening? Why did you want to join Sekou's tribe? Off the bat, I know that Sandra, Chelsea, Sydney, Mick and Matt have something going on. They all signed up within 2 minutes of each other and group 2 filled up REAL quick. Cochran and I got to talking today and he also picked up on this. Speaking with Cochran is a sigh of relief because he sees the same things I do. I was telling him, "dude, we need to combat this," because regardless of whether the groups stay the same or not; I'm not going to be picked off by something that was obvious before the game even started. Those 5 are on my radar. I'm not ruling out the other 4 in being apart of a bigger alliance but for right now, I need to take those 5 down. If it turns out they're not together, hey, no harm done! I don't have any bonds with them. The reason why I wanted to be on Sekou's team was because Sekou is obviously a character, he's the personality and a lot of people misconstrue personality for weak. Sekou's playing a hard game right now because he's already coming off non-threatening. I know that a lot of people are going underestimate group 3 because no one wanted to be on it, but I wouldn't be too surprised if they're the strongest group.
