I actually watched the Battle Royale movie, I didn't know it was a book, in all reality, but I do see where they are kind of similar. I wouldn't read the book though, simply because I already know what's going to happen so it won't have the same impact. I actually did the same thing, watched the movie without knowing it was a book. The movie is actually pretty slapdash and random at times, and it doesn't make a heck of a lot of sense if you haven't read the book. But there are actually a lot of differences between the book and the movie, including the ending, so it's definitely worth reading even if you've seen the movie. Mm, I agree. I just had a hard time getting over the deja vu, and I feel the same way you do - if I know in advance where a story is going, I don't feel particularly compelled to read it. It's quite similar to the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (and for the love of pete, if you've seen the movie, do not let it dissuade you from reading the books. The books have a genius that the movie doesn't nearly do justice to.) What it basically is is a series about a mythical medieval fantasy world, and every book deals with different subject matter. It parodies honestly just about everything from religion to politics to war to Christmas to the police to rock music to vampires to Phantom of the Opera to China to fairy tales, and the humour and brilliance of the writing are absolutely unparalleled. If you want to take a look at it, I recommend The Colour of Magic or Guards! Guards! to give you a taste. Blah, I know that goes. I'm on a semester abroad, so all of the free time I'd spend with my girlfriend or playing ORGs I get to spend reading. It's like being reborn. <3 I shall give that a try. I'm currently working through the Potter saga, if only because I got tired of everybody telling me I should.

Semhar I am looking forward to watching you play! You seem to have a winning spirit but also a desire to stay in character! I hope you enjoy this season as much as I enjoyed last season. Watch out for Idols and Ibrehem! This is such a win! My favorite contestant right here! <3 You never said that about me

I actually didn't see the Hitchiker etc. movie because they said it was about physics and I am by no means into numbers or anything like that. I like words, not numbers. But I shall give those a try, as long as the language is not too complicated I shall be fine <3
I shall give that a try. I'm currently working through the Potter saga, if only because I got tired of everybody telling me I should. [/quote] Harry Potter is good, I used to be a huge fan until everyone started dying over it and over-rating it as much and people started correcting each other. It took away the magic for me. Hate when fans over-do it. Brandon, thank you, I was a huge fan of yours last season. P.S. I did not get a hang-over, I'm such a boss! P.S.S. I will try to have a confessional soon!
