Sausage Island 3: Third Helping!
We're very excited about this season and especially about this cast. We received many applications and were very happy that we could cast entirely new players to the series. So thanks for applying!
I hope by now some of you have gotten to know each other and have gotten a chance to use your confessionals a bit. Tonight, the game officially begins.
Last night we had you all split into three groups of nine. Some of you thought that these might be your tribes. That's cute!
Some of you guessed correctly...these are not your tribes. These are the players you'll be competing against tonight.
For our third season, we felt it was natural for the first time to start the game off with three tribes. In typical Sausage Island fashion, we'll start by picking the captains who get to choose the three tribes. In your group camps, you'll be competing against your other 8 group members. Only one player from each group will be crowned one of the three starting captains of the game, which can be a very coveted role.
After the challenge, the three winners will be asked to stick around and choose tribes, tribe names, and tribe colors. After the tribes are officially picked, we'll have our first Immunity Challenge tomorrow night.
Top Sausage is of course back. Each round, myself, Brett, and the PW's will rank you all based on a combination of confessionals, activity, entertainment, strategy, challenge strength, and social skills. One player each round will earn the Top Sausage spot, which of course will be anonymous until after the game. Be sure to impress us with your activity, confessionals, and gameplay if you wish to place highly!
After several weeks, only one of you will remain and be crowned the winner of Sausage Island 3: Third Helping, joining Rory and Elyse in the winners circle. Seven of you will join the fourteen previously named All Stars in Sausage All Stars, which is sure to be a crazy time. Another handful of you will be asked back in our next season, Fans vs. Favorites.
We look forward to this season and to watching you all play.
Your real challenge will be posted in your group camps at 8:30.
