I joined group 2 as it looked to be the most active group, and 9 is my favorite number. Prior to the challenge, I had established contact with everyone on my 'group' except for Bobby Jon and Stephenie. Bobby Jon opens up the challenge by throwing the sausage at me. I then pass the sausage to Stephenie, who is a person I had not talked to at this point and didn't even know if she was following the challenge. She wasn't on AIM. Bobby Jon gets the sausage back another time and the two of us talk on AIM and agree to not continuously throw at one another, but for some reason, Stephenie absolutely refuses to pass to anyone besides me. So, I won't let her win that battle and keep throwing it back to her. This continues over an hour before Gregg asks for the sausage to make the challenge more entertaining. In the meantime, Steph and I go from being bitter rivals to pledging to have sex after the completion of the challenge. She may have some loyalty to me later if she needs me, but I won't trust her enough to work with her again after that. I feel confident that I had the tribe on my side and if we would've went to tribal council as group 2, Steph would have went home 8-1.
Steph eventually loses interest and voluntarily steps out of the challenge. Then our group keeps tossing the sausage back and forth, and no one appears to have to get offline any time in the future. So we agree to roll dice to decide the winner and all pick one another. The winner turns out to be ... me. Which was fitting after all the work I put in earlier, and Sandra even seemed to sense me winning prior to the dice being rolled and told me how much she wanted to see it happen. Unless she did this with everyone. At this point, I had formed the most solid connections with Chelsea and Sandra, so I wanted to pick them first. Both are amazing conversationalists who I could talk to forever. The obstacle was getting Chase and Misty to agree as well. Chase and I talked about sabotaging Misty, but ... no. That would've been too messy, so we just gave one another our top picks. He wanted Bobby Jon, Gregg, and Mick from my group along with Amber and Shawna from his group. I wanted Chelsea, Sandra, Sydney, and Aras, who were my favorites on the original group 2 more than the players who Chase wanted. Sydney, despite her looks, is extremely smart and focused on challenges. I know Aras is a good conversationalist, loyal guy, and the perfect ally to have on my side. Then I wanted Jay because I felt close to him due to knowing him from previous games.
Ultimately our male female ratio is still 6-3, so we should be fine for winning challenges. Sandra event admits to being just a half-female, but we have Cochran as one of our males, so it evens out. I feel safe if we lose the challenges with my original group 2 alliance being up 5/9 along with my connection with Jay. That leaves Sekou, Mike, and Cochran as our targets if we lose. I can make that happen.
