I'm very upset that we lost tonight. We have yet to win one challenge and I feel a tribal swap looming. If not next round, possibly the one after.
This challenge just showed me more who the weak links are. Basically, Bobby Jon is a waste of space and I don't trust him at all. Last challenge he did his puzzle once and said fuck it. Okay, I get that it was hard and I didn't have to deal with any rotating pieces, but why not just see if you can trade with someone or just take an easier one to begin with? We just needed one more person to win with their puzzle and we could have won last round.
This challenge, we were all in a chat and he wasn't really paying attention. When he finally went, he took forever to make his 20 posts and then posted the wrong thing. I pointed it out and he said he was going to edit. Um, just post again. You are wasting time!!! So, when we finally got all our letters it took a while to get the password. Semhar finally figured it out and we all posted in the password protected board...that is except Bobby Jon who finally after two minutes said the PW didn't work for him. We also had a bit of mis-communication with Amber. Mick posted that he was done and we all thought she had started. We found out a couple of minutes later that she didn't know Mick was done. It's really annoying working with people who aren't paying attention. This really should have been a win for us and now we have to vote someone out.
I had a pretty good talk with Chase and we both danced around the subject of Bobby Jon. We both finally admitted we thought of him as the weakest link and maybe we should vote him out - except that he is in our alliance of Chase/Amber/BJ/Me. Well, I didn't pick BJ to be in an alliance. Apparently Chase and Amber did and I was "told" I was in it too. I wouldn't have picked Bobby Jon - ever. So, while Chase and I were talking, apparently Bobby Jon tells Chase he's in a chat with Mick and Gregg and Gregg is talking about adding Amber as a fourth. And, they want to vote out Semhar. Well screw that. Semhar's not going anywhere and especially not over Gregg or Bobby Jon.
So, Chase pointed out that Gregg didn't perform very well, either on this challenge or the last one and the fact that he is trying to make his own alliance and exclude us means we should probably just vote him out. So, I agreed. I don't trust Bobby Jon but I don't trust Gregg, either. I also discussed this with Amber a little. She's really a sweetheart but she seems to want to trust Bobby Jon. I think she may be beginning to see that he's a little bit of a snake. I am still thinking Bobby Jon may be more of a liability to us both challenge-wise and trust-wise but I don't know if Gregg is that much better so I don't know if it's worth it to try to change this vote up right now.
Also, just to backtrack a bit. Chase and I talked about adding Semhar and Mick as a 5th and 6th so we could be as unified as possible going into a tribe swap situation. Lol that is basically going to be our whole tribe now. A tribe of 6. Woohoo. Anyway, we both (Chase and I) talked to Mick the other day and formed an alliance with him. The idea was to add "more people" later, which basically meant Amber and Bobby Jon. It was really the other way around - the four of us were adding Mick but we didn't want him to know that... but that ball kind of got dropped. So, I talked to Mick about voting Gregg tonight and he said he was fine with it. He didn't mention a word to Chase or I about the chat he had with Gregg and BJ, though.
I feel like I should have picked group #2 when we were signing up for the very first challenge. I probably would have ended up on Salchicha and wouldn't be on the worst tribe ever. Now I know how the Kizilirmak tribe felt.
