Episode Five~

Ever since the last Immunity Challenge i have not been feeling very well at all. I feel extremely weak and tired. I think that I might really start feeling the effects physically of being out here. I really am hoping I can find the strength somewhere because I don't want to be a liability to the tribe.

The only reason that being sick right now is not making me concerned about my survival here is because I'm in such a great spot, but if this were any other tribe I would probably be extremely vulnerable.

Going into the challenge I was not feeling well at all. I knew that if I had the opportunity to sit this challenge out then I was going too!

Right when Lex opens his mouth and he tells us that we're switching tribes. This was pretty much my worst nightmare. I'm at the weakest point physically in this game and now I'm going to possibly be put in a very vulnerable position.

Our tribes were based on our performance in the last competition. Since I had a horrible performance I was of course one of the last people on a tribe. My tribe consists of Chase, Shawna, Amber, Sandra, Stephenie, and Tammy. The good thing is that I have Stephenie and Tammy on my side and in an alliance. The bad news is that the most obvious alliance of Chase, Shawna, and Amber are also on my tribe. This of course has me thinking that Sandra is going to have all the power and both alliances are going to be fighting for her vote.

Before any of that could happen though we had to fight to win the challenge!

I once again didn't perform well along with Tammy. Were a new tribe that has just lost and I'm not feeling very good about it. I know that I'm going to need to do some serious damage control if I want to stay in this game.

Sandra pretty much came to me and told me everything that was going on with our tribe. Sandra has already shown me to be a very loyal solider!

Basically Amber, Chase, and Shawna are trying to take me out. There argument is that I'm weak in the challenges and well connected in the game. I can't dispute that I have not performed well in the last two challenges. However, for them to try and paint it as if I'm overall weak in the challenges is not accurate seeing as I beat 26 other people in the first Individual Challenge. On the second argument of being well connected its hard to see how the most obvious alliance can say something like that. lol. They're fooling themselves if they think it will work.

I most surprised though in Chase. Chase and I were both Captains of our tribe and for him to go after me without even talking to me first is pretty short sighted. I mean why not see if their is potential to work with someone who has the same target on their back as you do? I just think he's stepping up too much into a power player role that is only going to get him knocked off his pedestal quicker then he expects it to happen.

Now I just have to make sure I can get 4 votes on one of them and I think it can happen if I have the support of Tammy who might possibly be working with both sides right now!

Chase has pretty much been lying right to my face and not realizing that I know he's doing it. I now have to think of a way if I can rely on Tammy to keep myself here. I know that an idol is the one thing that can guarantee taking out Chase, Shawna, or Amber.

I really didn't want to go against Chase in this game, but he kinda has left me no choice. I think that their his alliance has kinda become too complacent in their game plan and is overlooking some very obvious warning signs headed their way.

I don't feel worried about Tribal Council tonight because I know I have a golden ticket to keep myself safe. Tom has an idol that he said he would give to me if I needed it and if I need it I will play it.

When I play it this tribe will securely be in my hands and I can feel a little safer for a little while longer. The morale of the lesson for Chase will be "Never count your chickens before they hatch" and this plan I've hatched might just cost Chase a million dollars.

After hours of conversation Sandra, Stephenie, and Myself have decided that the safest way to secure our safety is voting for Tammy. If Tammy self votes then we have 4 votes and it doesn't matter how Amber, Chase, and Shawna vote.

I hope that not playing the idol is the right move. I know I'm taking a risk here, but my gut says that this will pay off in the end. Sometimes you have to take these risk to move ahead and think in the long term. Using the idol right now is thinking short term and saving it for later is the right decision...I hope. lol.
