Penner and Tammy went home, so Original Salchicha stays alive while Original Bayonaca takes two blows. The problem with that is that everyone from Salchicha is becoming more of a threat because the opposition thinks we'll stick together.
The major problem right now with my game is that I've primarily been with the same people and don't have connections with the majority of the other tribes. I'm not going to go out of my way to cross-tribe chat with them because that would make me look suspicious. So I'll stay here and risk my situation.
Cochran wants an alliance on the tribe with me, Jay, and Sekou. He's looking at Sydney as a 5th. For me, I prioritize Sydney above Cochran and Sekou. However, I'll agree with this for now because it's vital to secure him for the majority in the votes to make sure I'm safe. I think Original Salchicha will be in danger of losing a member if the other two tribes go to TC again, so I need to make sure I maintain good relationships with everyone on my tribe to give me options for down the road in the game including Cochran, Sekou, Mick, and Stephenie since I already trust Jay and Sydney.

I kind of wish I was on a different tribe so I'd have to do more scrambling to stay safe. Here, I'm thrown with a bunch of people who want to work with me, so there isn't really a lot I have to do strategically besides get everyone to compromise on a name if we lose with the backup targeting not being me, Jay, or Sydney. Easy.
Socially, I think I'm doing fine with people I've been on a tribe with. The exceptions are Mick and Sekou, who is never around on AIM to chat. In challenges, I'm still holding back so people don't view me as the threat I'm capable of being.
And I guess that's all.

A lot's been happening actually, and I'm at the core of it and can basically dictate what happens for my tribe. Cochran continues to approach me to talk long-term strategy. He wants a core alliance with me, Jay, and Sekou with Sydney as our 5th and Stephanie as a possible 6th. I told him to delay talking to Stephanie because I know she's plotting to get Cochran and Sekou with the rest of us and don't want anything to unnecessarily complicate that. If we lost, I could either go with Cochran and Sekou and get Jay to vote out Mick. I could work with Mick, Stephenie, and Sydney to take out either Cochran or Sekou. If we took out Cochran, it would isolate Jay. Taking out Sekou would be possible if we got Jay on board, which I could do, but then we'd lose the support of Cochran. I'd basically be forced to pick which target would be best and go with it, trying to appease that one or two people we'd be isolating based on whatever move I did. My main concern is keeping Jay and Sydney with me since I trust those two the most. However, we won, so no more worries. For this round. I wanted a triple TC or something to get down to fewer people remaining overall. I'm bored still, and there are people on the other tribes I want out since I haven't talked to them yet.

Do you think this power comes as a blessing as a curse?
Are you afraid people may begin to notice you're calling shots and try to do something about it, or does that not worry you much?
In the whole cast who would you rank as your top 3 allies and why?
You're looking good! Keep going man!!

It's nice to have that much power to feel like I can control votes and who goes, but at the same time, it means that I'll be the person held most responsible for a blindside when it goes down. It may bite me. When Aras left, who did he feel most close to? Me. And he may talk and tell people that, so it's something to watch out for and may make others more reluctant to trust me if I repeatedly keep betraying people.
Are you afraid people may begin to notice you're calling shots and try to do something about it, or does that not worry you much?
I don't worry. I think I'm reliable enough as a competitor and just give a loyal vibe that for the short-term at least, no one will be like, "Let's get Matt out now!" I think everyone just sees me as a good number on their side and someone who they can trust with their plans. I know I can step up and win challenges and become more of a presence, but I don't want them to realize that and don't think they see it just yet.
In the whole cast who would you rank as your top 3 allies and why?
I'd say Chelsea, Jay, and Sandra are my top three allies with Sydney as a close 4th. I clicked so well with Chelsea and Sandra on original Salchicha Tribe. We just had great conversations that lasted far longer than my conversations with everyone else. Despite being on different tribes, we're communicating regularly about what's going on. With Jay, I feel like we both trust each other and are on the same page, even though he's playing a much different game than Chelsea and Sandra. He mainly seems to be keeping his game confined to our tribe and is working on establishing relationships with certain players who my other allies are not, like with Cochran and Sekou.

Thanks! Sorry it took so long to respond. I answered like I would've if I answered them right away.
