Chorizo
SURVIVOR
Has taken on a whole new meaning.
Lex and Brett walk into the challenge looking very somber. They immediately have attention of the 19 remaining castaways.
“Guys we have some bad news”, says Lex. “It was discovered last night that everyone in Pre-Jury is dead.”
Confusion, fear, and sadness spread through the group, with the questions overflowing almost at once. Everyone wondered how this could possibly happen. But the answers given were less than reassuring. It seemed that the island was only inhabited by the people in this game, along with the hosts. Trust was already an issue in the game of Survivor, but now deciding who you should trust could mean your life.
Suddenly, as if nothing has happened, Brett smiles and says, “Ok! Let’s get to tonight's challenge!”
Amazed, everyone tried to collect themselves as it seemed the game was going to continue in spite of the horrific news. The challenge for tonight would involve the three tribes running into the woods to collect planks of wood, in which will then be used to assemble stairs. Once assembled, everyone from that tribe must climb the stairs to raise their flag, giving them immunity.
Chorizo, Bayonaca and Salchicha stood ready to sprint into the woods, but most were still confused that the game could even continue after being told such troubling news. With that, Lex yells, “Survivors Ready? Go!” and everyone scrambles into the woods. In just a few minutes people start to return to their tribe mats. 2 for Chorizo, 3 for Salchicha, and Bayonaca has the most with 4 already back. People continue to return when suddenly there is a shrill scream followed by silence. People immediately look around at eachother trying to determine who was there with them. They realize Semhar had not returned. Reactions were anything from stunned silence, to cries and screams. No one knew what to think, but everyone realizes at this moment that each and every one of them is in severe danger.
The contestants and hosts scamper out to search the forest. they are quick to find something grim. Semhar's body was found behind a rotted tree. The cause of the death appeared to be suffocation or possible choking. She was either unable to surface her face from her mane of hair in time (the weight of her hair was simply too much to bear), or the killer choked her with her own weave.
Semhar, 19th Place
Lex gathers the castaways and informs them that since Semhar is no longer in the game, Bayonaca will be facing tribal council tonight. People begin to protest and ask that the game be called off and they be allowed to leave, but Lex refuses stating there is nothing he can do and they have a show to produce. Contracts are binding. With that, he turns and walks away from the castaways.
Chorizo & Salchicha return to their camps. Everyone can not think about winning immunity, but instead, are much more grateful for their lives. Bayonaca heads back to camp stunned that Semhar was with them only a few hours ago and now is dead. How can they even think about something as trivial as a Tribal Council when a life has been lost? Along with the lives of all those in the Pre-Jury no less! They each grabbed their torches and began their long walk to Tribal Council. They would demand this game conclude and that they all be sent home.
But being sent home was far from reality. During their trek, Bobby Jon is suddenly torn from the group by a snare and is violently thrown against a nearby tree, snapping his neck and leaving him hanging lifeless from a rope. His dead face mirrors his opening intro shot, in which he looks to be receiving a painful prostate exam.
Bobby Jon, 18th Place
The tribe is terrified by the time they reach Lex for Tribal Council and beg to be flown as far away as possible, but he assures them that the island will be secured tonight and everything will be fine by tomorrow. The Tribal talk continues but each person has very little to say. At this point the game is a matter of life and death, and because of Bobby Jon's, there would be no vote. With their heads held low, they headed back to camp.
Back at the Salchicha camp, Sandra is out looking for vines to help construct the shelter. "I CAN GET VINE TOO" she shouted to her tribe from a distance. She soon locates several vines across a small ditch in the sand. She leaps for it and face plants herself into the ground. She dies.
Her tribemates run over in horror, only to conclude upon further inspection, that her canteen was poisoned.
Sandra, 17th Place
Meanwhile at Chorizo camp, Cochran fills his canteen and grabs the sunscreen for a walk down the beach. Just out of sight from camp, Cochran decides to lay down to rest in a comfortable location shaded by the clouds. He sets the canteen and sunscreen down beside him. Just before falling asleep, he notices the clouds are starting to break up in the sky above him. He reaches down to put on the sunscreen but can't find it beside his canteen. This is his last thought before he drifts off.
Hours later, Cochran awakens to an unpleasant burning sensation across his whole body. He looks in shock at the redness of all of his exposed skin. Desperate for relief, he looks for the canteen that he laid down beside the sunscreen. Not only is the sunscreen still missing, but the canteen has been punctured. As Cochran stands up, a wave of dizziness hits him. His skin, completely red, has also become extremely itchy. He begins scratching and peeling at the irritated skin uncontrollably. Feeling weak from he heat and dehydration and unable to tolerate the sensations on his skin, he collapses and dies.
Cochran, 16th Place
The day turns to night, and not a peep is heard from Cochran. The rest of Chorizo begins to worry.
“I’m going to go check on him,” said Sydney.
Tensions already high from the paranoia from the previous day, a blood-curdling screech is heard, stemming from Sydney down the beach.
The rest of the tribe rushes to see what is wrong, all stopping dead in their tracks as Cochran’s burned, dead body lay on the ground. Sydney, terrified, is speechless.
“What the? Who could’ve done this? Did he…burn to death?” asked Stephanie.
“Well, gee, Stephanie, you should know! You were the last one who had the sunscreen before he took it!” said Jay in accusing tone.
“How dare you accuse me! You have the audacity to say I’d do this? Do I look like a killer to you!?”
“You’re the one with the crack stash…”
“That doesn’t make me a killer!”
“But the signs point to you…you were the last one who had access to the sunblock bottle before Cochran took it, so you must’ve tampered with it,” added Mick
Sekou: "sekou"
“Ugh, I can’t believe you. You know what? Just STOP TALKING! Do any of you idiots believe this guy?”
The tribe exchanged concerned, frightened looks.
“FINE! I guess I’ll go see if B’s strolled by with some nighttime treemail!”
And she stormed off.
Stephanie, furious and alone, stormed over to the expected empty basket of treemail, sat down, and sulked in the dark night.
Hours passed. Stephanie couldn’t sleep. Her whole tribe thought her to be the killer. What was she to do?
She had little time to think through scenarios. As she sat down, she heard a twig snap.
She scanned the scenery, as she walked around, turning three hundred sixty degrees, she found herself face-to-face with a person holding, to her horror, a knife. The figure gave a malicious grin. Stephanie, with no time to scream for help, sprinted off into the woods behind the campsite.
“HELP!” “HELP!” she shrieked in desperation. But it was no use, she was too far into the woods for her tribe to hear her. It was run or die. Stephanie ran for what seemed like forever, before she arrived in a clearing. There was no escape now. It was a sort of crossroads. There were four paths to choose from, the killer could be down any one of them. What was she to do? Before she could make up her mind, the killer raced toward her, covered her mouth, and slashed her throat, to stop her from speaking.
Stephanie, 15th Place
The next morning, life at Chorizo was oddly quiet, as the usual talkative Stephanie was nowhere to be found. When Matt went and checked her ever-dwindling crack stash, she wasn’t there. Feeling worried, Matt decided to brave danger and look for her in the woods.
After about an hour of searching, he found her body lying motionless and dead on the forest floor. The light had long left her eyes. Racing back to camp, he called the tribe to the fire.
“Stephanie’s not the killer. She’s dead. However…that leads us to the more pressing matter. Two of our numbers have died in twenty-four hours. Clearly, the killer is on this tribe.”
“Quite convenient of you to point blame when you went to check on Stephanie’s corpse, isn’t it, Matt?” piped up Sydney.
Sekou: "sekou"
“Hey! I am a lawyer! I am paid to make the most of the evidence I am given and make cases and argue with it! I know the killer is one of you four, and tonight, I challenge whoever it is to face me, man-to-man!”
And so he did.
Matt, feeling confident the killer was on his tribe, chose to take a "Night Watch" for Chorizo while the rest slept, trusting he'd catch and be able to take down the killer. Taking the hunting knife with him, he kept watch. At about 3AM, the killer appeared. "Get out of my camp, fiend!" yelled Matt, raising the knife. The killer simply laughed. Matt took a few stabs at the killer, but the killer was too quick for him. The killer tackled Matt to the ground, and shoved his face in the sand, suffocating him to death. "You're like an arrogant ostrich, burying your head in the sand to avoid the truth." And the killer dashed off into the night.
Matt, 14th Place
When the tribes began to gather for yet another challenge, it felt wrong to be playing games in the midst of all this death and sadness. They realized numbers were dropping quickly and the news of what had happened on each of the other tribes spread quickly.
Lex called them into their next challenge and announced today they were competing for a reward! It was an individual challenge and the winner would receive a brand new Jeep Wrangler! This was discussed with production as a way to hopefully improve the morale of the castaways.
The challenge was completed and Amber was handed the keys to her brand new car! She was encouraged to try it out immediately, good for ratings and all. She climbed into the drivers seat and as she began to drive away cheers came from the other castaways. It was nice to have a break from what had surrounded them for the past several days.
From a distance there was a loud explosion, and a ball of fire appeared above the trees. Everyone ran towards the scene but it was too late. This too had been turned into a fatal trap, and Amber was gone.
Amber, 13th Place
"Well then...with that..DROP YOUR BUFFS! You 12 remaining are now merged. In honor of my favorite night gown, you will be wearing these NON-polyester hot pink buffs." proclaimed Lex.
Heading back to camp in attempted Celebration, the newly merged tribe tried gathered around the campfire. The night grew darker as daylight faded, and panic started to spread. Not being able to see well increased the fear tenfold. Someone among this group had to be the killer.
To try and relax his fellow tribemates, Chase started to play one of his songs.
♪♫♪♫you can tell a lot about a man, by the way he holds his pole
does he hold it high, does he hold it low,
does he crank it fast or slow♪♫♪♫♪♫
"This song has so much depth, it's really insightful Chase!" said Misty.
Stephenie rolled her eyes at the rest of the group and peered out into the night, knowing it wasn't safe.
Sekou: "sekou sekou"
Suddenly water was thrown onto the fire and it was pitch black. There were cries and shouts as people scattered in fear, knowing the killer was about to strike. There was a loud thumping noise followed by a thud. A body had clearly fallen. Tom had managed to make a fire, and when the light spread out, everyone was not so shocked to see that Chase was dead. His head was bashed in by his own guitar.
Chase, 12th Place
The sun soon rose and the castaways had little to no sleep. "This needs to stop!" yelped Shawna. "I don't want to die! We need to get off this island! I know I wanted to leave in the Amazon season, but this is different!" she said on the verge of tears.
The castaways started to get up for the day, still baffled as to why Lex and Brett were still continuing to host. Screw the contracts. Screw the show. The lives of the players were far more precious.
"Something tells me we weren't brought out here to play Survivor." exclaimed Sydney.
"This is a sick game to someone. It is a hasty hasty game!" said Jay.
Sekou: "sekou sekou"
Nobody cared about gameplay and strategy. The million dollars was not on their minds. But as more and more people were leaving, the money was that much closer. How else would Stephenie help finance GiGi's? She knew only one person was a lock to win. He had the charisma and charm to persuade even a dead Jury. Stephenie turned to Tom and Chelsea, remembering there was still a game to play. "Can we get Sekou killed next?"
Upon those words, all eyes turned towards Stephenie in instant speculation that she was the killer. But before anyone else spoke about her absurd comment, there was another scream.
Mike shouted to his tribemates from the beach. During the night, the killer had struck again.
Misty's body had washed up upon the shore. It was evident that she had drowned. Her cowboy hat lay next to her.
Misty, 11th Place
The tribe looked in horror as Misty's body washed up on the shore, the killer was moving up their antics. As night fall came none of the remaining survivors felt able to sleep for fear of death and Sekou touching them in the night. As the sun began to rise however, Shawna, Sydney, and Chelsea all headed out to collect more firewood and have a girly bonding session in light of the recent events. The girls discussed the men of the camp amongst other things with Sydney revealing a weird love for Sekou, "I just want him to dominate me with his chocolate lovin' " she proclaimed. Trying to avoid the awkwardness which had just occurred the girls collected the firewood and heading back to camp, shedding a tear as they walking past Misty's dead body, well all but Sydney who was admiring Sekou from afar. As the girls made their way back to camp the morning sun had almost risen and Shawna told the girls she'd re-light the fire. As Sydney and Chelsea went to go back to sleep Shawna got back to work and had the fire lit in no time, she stood up to examine her work when suddenly a hand came and covered her mouth and an evil voice whispered in her ear, "Thanks for making this easy for me" and she was pushed into the fire subsequently burning to death.
Shawna, 10th Place
With no screams heard from Shawna, the camp had no idea of her demise until Sekou awoke to the smell of burning meat. Woman meat. He rushed to the fire to see what was cooking only to see Shawna's burnt body laying in the fire. A single tear fell down his face. Sydney could hear the soft tears of Sekou in the distance and sprang from her sleep to comfort him in his time of need. The two shared a long embrace, slowly pulling away to utter...
Sekou: "sekou"
Sydney: "sydney"
Sydney was about to declare her love for the island's big black love machine when Jay walked over to see the horror of Shawna's burnt body. He felt psychically sick and ran into the jungle to throw up. Noticing the camera's following him, he began to flex and show off his muscles trying to secure that post-survivor modelling contract. As Jay was posing he didn't notice rustling of the surrounding bushes and before he knew it, an arrow was shot and fired right into his chest.
Jay, 9th Place
Whilst Jay had gone the remaining survivors had all discovered Shawna's dead body and were also taken aback by Sekou and Sydney's recent closeness. Tree mail shot from the sky landing besides them. The survivors had no idea were the tree mail had come from but it just simply said, 'Run'. Fear and dread fell over the Survivors faces.
Sekou grabbed Sydney by the hand and the two began to run, following the rest of the survivors. The rain began to poor and within seconds they were all running through mud and slippy terrain, until Andrew stopped and shouted, "Where's Jay?!" The group didn't seemed to care much at the startling disappearance. Andrew looked torn as to whether to run with the rest or go back. He couldn't leave one of his own behind, and so he began to make his way back as the others ran ahead. The rain increased and Andrew was finding it hard to keep his footing. Determined to get Jay, he continued to run until he fell into the ground. A trap hole had been placed and with the rain continuing to poor down, he was unable to bring himself out of the hole and drowned.
Stephenie eventually ran past the hole, losing direction. She looked down to see a man floating. Chelsea caught up with her, looked in, and cried out. "Oh my God. Andrew!"
Breaking the fourth wall, Stephenie responded, "There is an Andrew in this story?"
Andrew, 8th Place
They didn't realize the challenge was a test of teamwork, but the set trap had caught it's prey. Lex randomly arrived and called them together and announced Andrew would have had immunity for attempting to help Jay, but death made him exempt from that, so no one would be immune at Tribal Council.
"Tribal Council!?" they shouted in union and confusion.
The tribe once again was heading back to Tribal Council. Mick grabbed his torch from beside the tree and headed in the direction he believed they had always gone for Tribal Council. But something felt off. The woods grew more dense the further he continued. It was soon pitch black and he couldn’t even see his hand in front of his face. There was a loud snap of a twig behind him and instantly the immunity idol cracked against the side of his head. He slumped to the ground. The killer picked up the bloody idol, laughed and slipped away into the woods to catch up with the others as they headed towards Tribal Council.
Mick, 7th Place
But the trek to Tribal Council was put on pause. Sekou health had been failing for days. He thought it was just exhaustion from all the fooling around. But it got worse and worse as time went. It was so bad recently, that they needed to help carry him on a stretcher. No one realized that while all the others had been eating from the same food sources, Sekou had been drinking tainted blood, because he believed that like Bella in Twilight, it would make him stronger and faster than the others. Instead, it had quite the opposite effect. Sydney cried at Sekou's stretcher's side, tending to him.
Sekou was now slipping away. The killer watched as Sekou quietly uttered one last “sekou”, threw his fist into the air, and was gone. Aids.
Sekou, 6th Place
After her lover's death, Sydney felt faint. She collapsed to the ground and died just minutes after Sekou had. Some would say it was the transmitted aids that killed Sydney Wheeler, but it is widely believed being so beautiful was too much to bear.
She fell across her man's body.
Sydney, 5th Place
The tribe called it a night and tried to sleep, with only four of them still alive, they had made up their minds: Tomorrow they would go to Lex and Brett, and tell them that they either flew them home, or they quit the game and returned home to safety on their own. They were done endangering their own lives for Lex and Brett’s amusement.
Chelsea, Stephenie, Mike, and Tom
“I’ll go get a chicken from the coop,” said Chelsea. She had been the resident chicken killer and breeder of the tribe.
She set out to get the chickens, but came across a horrific sight: All three of their chickens were killed. Throats slashed, and gutted, their innards laying in a bloody pile by their cage.
Before Chelsea could scream, the killer struck again. Grabbing her throat to prevent her from screaming, he tied her arms together, and hung her from a tree, placing a handkerchief around her mouth. The killer grinned maliciously.
“I’ve seen you make a clean job of those chickens,” the killer said with an evil smirk. “Now you’re going to know, exactly how they feel.
Slowly and methodically, the killer slashed her open from end to end, letting her bleed to death, and gutted her alive, tearing her heart out last so as to extend the pain.
Chelsea, 4th Place
An hour passed. The tribe, assuming Chelsea to be dead, sent out Stephenie to confirm it.
Stephenie came running back, a look of pure horror on her face.
“She’s been…GUTTED like a chicken!”
This, however, led the others to point the finger at her.
“And who might’ve done this? No one was near her when she died…except you!” accused Mike.
“Yes, because I would totally come tell you someone was dead if I were the killer!” retorted Stephenie.
“Okay, guys, enough of this fighting. We clearly need to get out of here. Let’s go to Lex and Brett and make our position clear. We can leave them to deal with Stephenie when we get there,” said Tom.
Tom and Mike took a struggling Stephenie with them to the production site. Once there, they saw a somber Lex and Brett.
“What have we done?” asked Brett to Lex.
“A very bad thing.”
“And what bad thing would that be?” asked Mike.
“We have the killer. She’s right here!” said Tom.
“…No.” said Lex.
“What do you mean NO?!”
“Brett and I…paid someone off to kill you all…as a joke. We saw one of the players drunk one night, and jokingly told them that we’d pay them $20 to kill the entire cast. We didn’t think he’d take us seriously,” said Brett in a guilt-ridden tone.
“Okay…so who the hell did you pay off? It wasn’t me, boys, so if you could please let go! Now…who was it?” asked Stephenie.
But before they could answer, two hands appeared behind the bush Brett and Lex were sitting by. Two long, thick sausages were shoved in their mouths. After a short struggle, both hosts lay lifeless on the floor, ironically gagged to death by the island’s native delicacy.
Lex & Brett, sausaged.
The three surviving inhabitants of Sausage Island started running in all directions. The thoughts racing through their head were both grisly and frightening.
They had all been facing the same direction…had someone faked their gruesome death? Did someone have some superhuman powers to be in two places at once? Were they ever going to escape the island? Were any of them going to live?
Tom was running for what seemed like hours along the beach. Where the others were, he hadn’t the faintest idea. Suddenly, he saw a shark swimming out in the water. However, before he could look for his spear, the killer sprang out of a bush, put it into his side, and dragged him into the water. Too weak to save himself, as the spear had punctured one of his lungs, Tom lay helpless in the water. The sharks came, and devoured him, headfirst.
Tom, 3rd Place
Meanwhile, Mike ran halfway in the opposite direction, stopped, and turned around. He was convinced Stephenie was the killer, and he was going to be the one to finish her off.
Seeing her turn a corner, he began in hot pursuit. Racing her silently through camp, he found a hunting knife, and continued in hot pursuit.
Chasing Stephenie as if he were a cat chasing a mouse, he silently stalked his prey. He was going to kill her for what she did, there was no denying that.
Stephenie slowed down and retreated to a small abandoned shack on the island. Assuming she was alone, she sat down to relax.
Just as she became complacent, Mike, eyes alight with rage, charged her with the knife.
As he chased her around the shanty shack, he eventually cornered her, grabbed her arms, and pinned her to the wall.
This was it for Stephenie, she was going to die for a crime she didn’t commit. She just knew it.
“You disgust me! Killing these people for $20 because you were in a drunken stupor! Well, the tables have turned! I am a former Marine, I’ve killed scum like you before! Say goodbye!” exclaimed Mike.
And he raised the hunting knife, had it at Stephenie’s throat, the blade touched her skin, and a gunshot was heard.
The light left Mike’s eyes. Someone had shot him right in the temple. His dead corpse dragged the knife down with him down Stephenie’s body, and he fell to the floor, unmistakably dead.
The question was…who shot him? Everyone was dead.
Mike, 2nd Place
A tall, slender figure emerged from the shadows with a revolver in his hand.
“You!” exclaimed Stephenie.
It was Jay, with the arrow still in his chest.
“But…you’re dead.”
“So you thought,” as he pulled the arrow, with no point on it, out of his chest with ease.
“But why, Jay?” asked Stephenie.
“Well, at first Brett and Lex paid me off, then explained to me I was drunk, but then I got to thinking…It would be quite a speedy way to the million if I just killed all of you off anyway, including them…right?”
“That is quite barbaric.”
“But tactful, no?”
“Quite…but rather disgusting. Now, why haven’t you killed me yet? I mean…you have a revolver and I have nowhere to go. I got a dead Marine at my feet.”
“Excellent question! The reason you are still alive, is because of a simple fact: You are the biggest threat to me in this game, so I’m going to make your death worthwhile. We’re going to play a game. It’s called you run and I kill. I’ll give you one hour to hide, and you must avoid me for twenty-four hours. If I don’t find you in twenty-four hours, we’ll split the check fifty-fifty.”
Stephenie, seeing no better option, accepted.
“You had better start running, then.” Snickered Jay.
Stephenie bolted into the woods. For a good thirty minutes, she ran nonstop.
However, something dawned on her. Jay had agreed to kill the members of Sausage Island whilst in a drunken stupor , Jay would surely want a drink before long.
Preparing to take Jay down herself, and collect a fat check in the process, Stephenieraced to the Production site, past a dead Lex and Brett, and into the Pre-Jury House, where she found all she’d need to conquer Jay, remembering that the first victims were killed at the Pre-Jury hut.
The rotting corpses of Sophie, Brenda, Gregg Aras, Tammy, Amanda, Matty, and Penner gave the place the smell of a used toilet. Stephenie, disgusted, ran to the bar.
Anticipating Jay to come there to get drunk, she searched the bar for any weapon. She found some. She knew what she’d do. Finding Lex’s Louisville Slugger baseball bat beneath the sink, she also found rat poison. All she had to do now was prepare for Jay to arrive.
As she anticipated, late in the night, after Jay had fruitlessly searched for Stephenie, he came to the Pre-Jury hut to drown his sorrows. The door swung open, and with one swing, Stephenie whacked Jay unconscious as she sent him a blow to the head with the bat.
While the crazed Jay was unconscious, Stephenie tied him to a chair, making sure all his limbs were in inescapable knots, she prepared for him to wake.
One hour later, he did.
“GET ME OUT OF THIS THING!” he bellowed.
“I’m sorry, that isn’t happening. What you didn’t anticipate was someone wanting the money as much as you,” Stephenie replied.
“WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?!”
“Finish you, and return home a hero.”
Jay watched and struggled angrily, as he watched Stephenie fix him a drink.
“You’re going to kill me by giving me a beer?” Jay snorted.
“Precisely.”
Bending down, Stephenie took out the rat poison from beneath the sink, poured it into his drink, shoved the bottle into his mouth, and forced the draught of death down his protesting throat."
With one final shameless plug, Stephenie muttered, "I can make a good cocktail. Just go to Gigi's."
Within minutes, Jay was drowning in his own vomit, meeting his end how many alcoholics before him have.
Jay, 2nd Place
Stephenie, realizing she had won, darted out of the hut, took a blank check from Lex’s pocket, wrote it to herself for $1 million, and boarded a chopper to safety. Upon her return to the states, she had a famous pizza chain, $1 million for being the winner of Sausage Island, and was an American Hero, right out of the movies, adored by all.
