Welcome final fourteen! Okay...so I may have lied a little again. I tend to do that. You guys should know by now! I did leave some subtle hints though... YOU ARE MERGED!Not only that, but congrats on making the jury! You 14 have all been through a lot to get to this point. A lot of shake ups from us, many intense tribals, and plenty of drama. Congrats on making it this far. Not as many shake ups in the future (...maybe ), but this game certainly won't get any easier. The real game starts tonight. Tonight, you'll be voting one member out of your newly merged tribe. Immune: Matt, Shawna, ChelseaQuestions for all: 1. Surprised by the merge? How does this change your strategy? 2. Will things be different for you knowing that you're now voting out members who will join the jury? 3. What's the criteria for voting? Do you take out physical threats? Vote based on alliances? Based on activity? 4. How do you expect tribal lines to come into play in tonight's vote? Does this still feel like Salchicha vs. Bayonanca vs. Chorizo? Or did the swaps completely break those bonds down? For Matt, Shawna, and Chelsea: 1. How nice does it feel to have Immunity around your neck tonight? Do you think you needed it? Have fun! ;D Be sure to vote in the "Voting History" thread provided to you in your confessionals. You have 24 hours to do so. Any vote after 24 hours will not count, and if all the votes are in, we reserve the right to post results early. Be sure to leave a bootlist to prevent self voting. Also make sure you answer these questions and have some confessionals for this round!

1. Surprised by the merge? How does this change your strategy? ~ I am very surprised, I'm not exactly sure what to do with myself now. There's thirteen other people in the tribe now, a lot of which I wasn't counting on so the game completely changes, now it's about getting to the end, and doing so in a way where the jury will respect you. Which leaves twelve threats.
2. Will things be different for you knowing that you're now voting out members who will join the jury? ~ Not really, I have always treated every single person I voted out with the up-most respect and integrity, so I don't see why I would change that.
3. What's the criteria for voting? Do you take out physical threats? Vote based on alliances? Based on activity? ~ It depends, with a tribe this big, the variables are SO many! It could literally be anyone who is not immune.
4. How do you expect tribal lines to come into play in tonight's vote? Does this still feel like Salchicha vs. Bayonanca vs. Chorizo? Or did the swaps completely break those bonds down? ~ I think there's very clear alliances or at least people who have bonded with each other a lot, you have two sides but then you have people in the middle and you also have people who have bonded despite the division, so this is going to be one crazy round. Everything factors into this vote.

1. Surprised by the merge? How does this change your strategy? Yes I am surprised actually. I initially thought merge at 14 but once the tribes swapped again I was like...NOPE...so yeah...you got me
2. Will things be different for you knowing that you're now voting out members who will join the jury? No, it is stll early enough that thinking about jury isn't really a factor
3. What's the criteria for voting? Do you take out physical threats? Vote based on alliances? Based on activity? Probably a mix of all 3
4. How do you expect tribal lines to come into play in tonight's vote? Does this still feel like Salchicha vs. Bayonanca vs. Chorizo? Or did the swaps completely break those bonds down? I have no idea how things are going to play this time, but I'm sure once the votes are read it will be seen where people stand.

Questions for all:
1. Surprised by the merge? How does this change your strategy?
I'm not, honestly. NO sit-outs usually means the game is about to change, so I'm not surprised this happened.
2. Will things be different for you knowing that you're now voting out members who will join the jury?
Yes, I mean now everything counts. How you treat people, who you betray, etc.
3. What's the criteria for voting? Do you take out physical threats? Vote based on alliances? Based on activity?
As long as it ain't me.
4. How do you expect tribal lines to come into play in tonight's vote? Does this still feel like Salchicha vs. Bayonanca vs. Chorizo? Or did the swaps completely break those bonds down?
Don't know. I just know my original tribe is dead except for Tom and Savage. <.<

1. Surprised by the merge? How does this change your strategy?Yes, I'm surprised! Doesn't really change my strategy. (Boring answer ) 2. Will things be different for you knowing that you're now voting out members who will join the jury? Not for me. 3. What's the criteria for voting? Do you take out physical threats? Vote based on alliances? Based on activity?Got to think of it like "people who would probably put my name down" - that is who I'd want to vote. 4. How do you expect tribal lines to come into play in tonight's vote? Does this still feel like Salchicha vs. Bayonanca vs. Chorizo? Or did the swaps completely break those bonds down?I think it'll be intense. I think the bonds have been made and it'll be tough to crack any.

1. Surprised by the merge? How does this change your strategy? I pretty much just stopped expectin' things in this game. You're usually way off base with all your guesses when it comes to the twists and then are always surprised with what happens. It's just one of those things you learn along the way. Sausage Island is crazy and anyone who thinks otherwise probably hasn't been playin' the game. But yeah, I did not see the merge comin' this soon at all. I had it pegged differently all game. I don't think this affects my strategy.
2. Will things be different for you knowing that you're now voting out members who will join the jury? I think alot of the immaturity and the stuff that's been said to people on their way out of the game will probably come to a halt, unless it's personal beef. Anyone who has their eye on the prize at the end has to know that the Jury are gonna' be the ones that will decide your fate at the end of the day. So unless someone's got a mortal enemy in this game or somethin' like that, I don't expect anybody to be disrespected on their way out. It just wouldn't be smart.
3. What's the criteria for voting? Do you take out physical threats? Vote based on alliances? Based on activity? It's a mix. I mean, are we in the individual stage of the game now? Who freakin' knows with all ya'll throwin' in switch-ups, and toss-ups, and swap-ups, and whatnot. Like I said, you never know what you're gonna' expect, so it's no use in tryin' to speculate, 'cause it's always wrong usually and upstaged.
4. How do you expect tribal lines to come into play in tonight's vote? Does this still feel like Salchicha vs. Bayonanca vs. Chorizo? Or did the swaps completely break those bonds down? I think everyone sees it differently. The bonds everyone makes in the game, regardless of their original tribes, will be what last the longest. Just because you started on a tribe doesn't mean that's it, that's your alliance for the rest of the game. This game changes so much, day after day, and you best believe that loyalties and alliances are the same way. Everything is constantly in motion. TheRE will be lines in tonight's vote, but I don't stamp tribe names on 'em.
5. How nice does it feel to have Immunity around your neck tonight? Do you think you needed it? It feels so nice, Lex! I didn't realize I was gonna' be needin' it this much. Like, I didn't think that I would be coming into a 14-person tribal council. I'm glad I came on and really tried hard to win because it paid off. I'm sure both Matt and Shawna feel the exact same way. We worked for it and lucked out!

1. Surprised by the merge? How does this change your strategy?
I can't say I am. This game has had the most unexpected of timings with everything so I expected the merge to happen at a weird time, just not this soon! And obviously it changes strategy as now we're playing with 13 other people so a lot more to consider.
2. Will things be different for you knowing that you're now voting out members who will join the jury?
I wouldn't say this will have affect on the vote just yet, but who knows!
3. What's the criteria for voting? Do you take out physical threats? Vote based on alliances? Based on activity?
I think the criteria will be different for every round as we're bound to get another twist so it's hard to know what to base youre vote on.
4. How do you expect tribal lines to come into play in tonight's vote? Does this still feel like Salchicha vs. Bayonanca vs. Chorizo? Or did the swaps completely break those bonds down?
I can't really call it. I think after this vote and the next few ones it'll be clear to see who is with who and how the game may play out in this merge.

1. Surprised by the merge? How does this change your strategy? Im surprised we didnt get a feast 2. Will things be different for you knowing that you're now voting out members who will join the jury? I have always voted the way I know how. Whatever keeps me around for another round. It might be important to think about who to vote out now but that doesn't take precedence over the instinct of survival. 3. What's the criteria for voting? Do you take out physical threats? Vote based on alliances? Based on activity? It's whoever is basically writing me off as a potential ally. 4. How do you expect tribal lines to come into play in tonight's vote? Does this still feel like Salchicha vs. Bayonanca vs. Chorizo? Or did the swaps completely break those bonds down?I think right now there are still people who might look into the whole tribe vs tribe thing but with all the swaps we have encountered there's just no telling where loyalties lie at this point. This vote however might reveal some key alliances and therefore plot out what the rest of the game will be. The game is afoot.

1. Surprised by the merge? How does this change your strategy? I'm not that surprised by the merge, no. The way the game's gone, anything can happen at any time. I think we've all speculated different possible twists, and one of them was a possible merge for this round. After seeing the challenge description and results, having the merge be announced at tribal council was surprising.
2. Will things be different for you knowing that you're now voting out members who will join the jury? I won't play any differently now that we're voting out future jurors, but you'll probably be seeing people be nicer to the targets on their way out for jury vote purposes.
3. What's the criteria for voting? Do you take out physical threats? Vote based on alliances? Based on activity? You have to factor all of that into account to make the best possible decision for your own game.
4. How do you expect tribal lines to come into play in tonight's vote? Does this still feel like Salchicha vs. Bayonanca vs. Chorizo? Or did the swaps completely break those bonds down? It'll be a mix of everything. I'm sure you'll have some original tribal lines voting together, but not all of them, some new alliances formed from the swap, and possibly other unexpected things happening.
5. How nice does it feel to have Immunity around your neck tonight? Do you think you needed it? It feels really nice to be immune from the vote. There are so many variables that can occur with 14 people in the game that if you have an opportunity to be immune from it all, you should probably take it.

1. Surprised by the merge? How does this change your strategy? I'm a surprised for sure, I didn't think it would be until final 11 or 12 so it's kinda a relief that the final stage of the game started. And no this doesn't change my strategy at all. I will still continue to just take it day by day.
2. Will things be different for you knowing that you're now voting out members who will join the jury? No not at all. I'm just doing my thang I guess. Still the same
3. What's the criteria for voting? Do you take out physical threats? Vote based on alliances? Based on activity?
Everyone should know by now who I'm voting. I've campaigned very hard and that's always gonna put you at risk but I don't wanna 'just get by' I want to play 100% every round.
4. How do you expect tribal lines to come into play in tonight's vote? Does this still feel like Salchicha vs. Bayonanca vs. Chorizo? Or did the swaps completely break those bonds down? I mean there is clearly a central group in the game but they really don't have numbers. This group has 14 people so people have to decide if they want to win 6-14 or if they wanna take a risk and actually play the game cause nobody wants to vote for a goat at the end.

1. Surprised by the merge? How does this change your strategy? |
I didn't expect a merge at 14, that's for certain. I was thinking maybe in a few rounds, but not this soon. Well, I didn't think we'd swap at 15 either, so I have been taken by surprise quite a few times so far. From now on I will stop assuming anything without evidence whether it's a twist or anything game-related. 2. Will things be different for you knowing that you're now voting out members who will join the jury? |
In a way they would be, but that does not mean I or anyone should be fake to Jurors whether it's me or anyone else in that spot. Being nice to their face while trashing them behind their back, in that way. I, by no means, would suddenly become fake to anyone for their vote, but one thing is for certain - I do have respect for all of us that have made it this far and I still will until the end of the game. 3. What's the criteria for voting? Do you take out physical threats? Vote based on alliances? Based on activity?
|
To be perfectly honest with you, none of this. I am basing my vote on who I believe should leave and a person that is no good to anyone over here. That person would harm us all with their presence and we all know such people have got to go. Therefore I am basing my vote on what would not only be good to me, but to all of us. 4. How do you expect tribal lines to come into play in tonight's vote? Does this still feel like Salchicha vs. Bayonanca vs. Chorizo? Or did the swaps completely break those bonds down? |
I can tell you one thing about tribal lines - it will go down to Salchicha vs. Bayonaca vs. Chorizo vs. NuSalchicha vs. NuChorizo vs. NuBayonaca vs. NunuSalchicha vs. NunuChorizo vs. Pahlawan vs. Atakapa vs. Meistrite. It is pretty self-explantory, isn't it? And if it's not about you Hosts and PWs then how do you expect us to know?
