Usually whenever I play survivor I can't wait for the merge, it allows me to regroup and make my end game plans, but this game, I didn't want the merge at all. We were set in a perfect position to boot off the power ranger alliance all pre merge and without much difficulty, but obviously not everything can go the right way.
14 people in one tribe though is crazy. It leads to so much possibility and whilst the vote might seem straight forward in that we're going to attempt to vote off Chase, something is just telling me there is something else going on. But that could just be me over thinking?
I've been speaking to a few people and our vote seems set on Chase. Semhar and I had a brief conversation and she told she's voting Sandra and I could too if I wanted to and not to just blindly lead an alliance. I kinda gave her false hope but she saw through it, but in the end she said if I had any sway, which she knew I had, to try and keep her safe. I agreed and said I would let her know if she was in danger, there was some truth in this but not whole truth, but it did get me thinking. I need to be socially good with both sides of this game to attempt to avoid them ever wanting to vote me as a counter vote which could possibly result in me getting booted. As long as my core alliance of Matt, Sydney and Chelsea know i'm doing this it should be ok.
So i'm just going to concentrate on cementing my social bonds in these early merge rounds then go for immunity before the shit really starts to get real. This is where the game gets good.
Oh, Tom and I also formed a showmance.
