So when the challenge was posted and I saw that all three tribes were going to tribal council, I knew that I needed immunity. Sydney and I had discussed this scenario and knew that one of us needed immunity and one of us needed to play Mick's idol.
I'm always really good under pressure at winning key challenges, and I've been holding back to that point. In that challenge, I actually showed some of my potential that I've been holding back this game. Winning it felt amazing, and when Sydney said that Mick transferred her the idol, then everything looked set to get all of my alliance in the final 11 with Chase, Mike, and Sekou going home.
SADLY this wasn't the case and we ended up merging. I guess it's good to have individual immunity since I'd have to depend on votes from people I never even talk to (like Tom) without it. Unfortunately it makes me look like a threat, and I'd prefer to go back to tribes now actually to reduce the number of variables that I have to counter right now and let some more of the people who I don't have complete control be eliminated since they were in the minority.
