coz he was amazing in his season! despite people calling him crazy and loony for hunting that boar and whatever but i think he's a strong solid competitor and a leader and that everyone looked up to him so it would be amazing to watch him again

I feel like he was good in that season (not much of a gamer but a strong asset to a tribe) but I think how the game has changed will completely overwhelm him..but I hope I'm wrong.
Even BRob got tooled by the game in HvsV so I don't think Skupin will manage...but I reall hope I'm wrong. Maybe he's been studying.

i am sensing that too. I think he will be different from last time and I'm not really sure how he will approach the game this time but I believe we will see a different side of him

Well its obvious that the Survival aspect on Survivor is not really important anymore. Back when Skupin played the early votes were on challenge performance, working around camp, etc.
Now its all about strategy. Skupin was a big player of the survival aspects of the show. So will see what strategic game he has out there.

Even BRob got tooled by the game in HvsV so I don't think Skupin will manage... Yes, but don't forget that Boston Rob got tooled just as hard the first time around, for literally the exact same reason, and that's because Boston Rob's brain can only devise one strategy: "I'm just going to make myself boss of the world and get everybody to cut their own throats." Which of course means that if Rob was in the army, his battle tactic would be to just go out there and tell all of the enemy to start shooting themselves in the face, and expect it to work. His strategy works brilliantly when he's playing against a bunch of idiots, but it instantly falls apart whenever anybody who actually understands how to play the game shows up. Whereas in Skupin's case, I wouldn't doubt he's been watching the show to get an understanding of the new game rules, to figure out how to ride the power currents. The guy owns (or owned) a software company, and analyzing changes like that is pretty much what keeps you going in the technology business. Either way, I'm stoked to see whether he can bring some dominance. Penner's threepeat, I'm a bit iffy on. Penner's always great to watch, he has some of the best one-liners in the show's history, but I think his reputation will get him out of there pretty quickly. Swan, on the other hand, is gonna be a dark horse. I could see him getting way too bossy, which was ruffling some feathers over at Galu for sure, and alienating his whole team.

I don't agree on Penner. He is so well liked I think that people WANT to play with him. Out of the 3 I see people most wanting to play with either Penner or Skupin. Russell who? I'm not sure how long Russ will last to be honest. I didn't particularly enjoy the guy on Samoa and when he's toe to toe with Penner and Skupin, I'll drop him like it's hot!
Penner was well in on FvF and I think he could have made it very far if he wasn't evacuated. I do think Penner's constant whining and snakeyness will throw a wrench in his game, but that's also why he's liked.
I guess the question is: Is playing with them worse than when you watch on the show? Like you may love Penner from your couch, but you might be itching to take him out because you can no longer stand him. We'll find out I guess.

I dunno how long Penner would have lasted. Penner was with Eliza, and the only reason Eliza made it to the merge was because Airai went on an unprecedented Immunity run. Numerous people stated in interviews that if they'd ever lost a challenge, both Penner and Eliza were done like dinner.
Mind you, most of the Penner hate came from his fellow vets. Fans might react to him completely differently (and I really hope they do. Penner was a phenomenal character.)
