I've heard everything I need to and I'm ready to vote.
My vote for the winner of Sausage Island III is...
Chelsea played a great game. She was strong in challenges, was seen as the main person making the moves/decisions and had the best answers in the finale. She didn't have the "control" that Sydney did over Mick and Tom but I still don't think she was in danger so the fact she wasn't able to get Matt to the end doesn't make me see her as any less deserving. It only makes me respect that she wanted the final three to be herself, Sydney and Matt. That would have been a much better contest.
Sydney played a great game, too, but she just harped on her control of Mick and Tom at F6 a little too much for me. They were her friends that would never vote against her, and one even bowed out at F4 because he didn't want to be in the finals, so for me it wasn't that big of an accomplishment to control those two people. If they were two people who actually had their own games going, I might have been more impressed.
Tom might have played a good game but he didn't do a good job at articulating what he did. Not to mention he threw in the towel and conceded defeat rather than face the tough questions. Yes, he came back and started answering but it was too little too late. I don't honestly think he would have gotten my vote even if he had done a better job at answering the questions, but we'll never know.
