Thank you for your questions and to all those with open minds
Without reiterating too much that was said here in the Final Tribal Council, I'd like to give my final spiel as to why I should be crowned the winner of Sausage Island III: Third Helping. I believe my game is worthy of the title and that I've surpassed the quota of what makes a good Survivor winner. What separates me from the other finalists are the layers to my gameplay. Since "moves" weren't really a topic of importance in the questioning, I'd like to use this closing statement to highlight again on what I feel were my three defining moves that strengthen why I feel I would make a good winner:
For those reasons I feel I stand out more as a strategist. I don't feel like I am coming out of this game with any enemies. Those two factors combined with more immunity wins and my Hidden Immunity Idols purse, I feel like I fit the package of a deserving winner. My answers in this final questioning weren't all about "decoration" and flattery, but instead, they got to the root and truth of the questions asked. I feel I've kept it real and have showed my game in a light that I hope most Jurors find positive.
I very much want this win and it would mean a lot coming from you guys. I had a lot of drive and showed some fight here in this last stretch of questioning, and I'll still go down tooth and nail for the title. I've enjoyed playing this game with you all and thanks again to Lex for it. (and Brett!!) Thanks for reading Jurors and I hope that I have done all that I can to convince you to write my name down tonight for the win.
- Eliminating Matt: This was without a doubt one of the biggest shake ups of this season, and not a lot of people were expecting it. This move illustrated my control in the most crucial stage of the game, and it eliminated the person whose social game was through the roof with a lot of players. I think there were questions to how my alliance's dynamic worked, and I exposed it at this Tribal Council. It allowed for the Jurors to see how the game would map out and that I had been navigating. This season lacked a lot of big moves, or moves in general from people in my side, and I feel this was a necessary one at that.
- Number One Allies: Setting up my end game was not the easiest task as I had to appear like I would go the distance with both parties in my alliance. It took some deceit with Chelsea about the boot order plans, but I ultimately got what I wanted. I brought the three people who considered me their #1 ally to the final four and had the power to do what I wished. I decided on keeping to my word with the commitments I made with both Chelsea and Tom. I took them to the end, believing and still believing that I've worked more strategy than them as I played through this game. I am confident in my game against these two.
- Working Relationship with Mike: My side deal with Mike allowed me more security. He was my "in" to the other alliance. Meaning if anything ever went wrong, I feel like he would have my back so long as other people in my alliance were vulnerable to be picked off. I did the same for him by making him the last member standing for his alliance. I think it's important to have back up plans and more options while playing this game, and I took that precaution. You never know what twists will be thrown your way, especially in this series.
For those reasons I feel I stand out more as a strategist. I don't feel like I am coming out of this game with any enemies. Those two factors combined with more immunity wins and my Hidden Immunity Idols purse, I feel like I fit the package of a deserving winner.
