Chorizo
So, yay for tribes! And yay we have three tribes of nine...for now.
Chase did a fairly good job of picking. I would have liked to have Aras on my tribe but I am very happy that I have Semhar! And Amber, even though I'm not sure how this is going to work with her, lol.
My thoughts so far on my tribemates:
Chase - We seemed to get along pretty well tonight and ended up making a deal to roll the dice for Captain once it got down to Amber, Chase and I. I do know he brought up the idea to Amber way before me and, seeing that he picked her before he picked me, I might want to keep an eye on that. It might just be that she was in second place, but we'll see.
Amber - I know her pretty well so it's nice to be on the same tribe with her. I am not sure how much she'll trust me because of a past game we were in, but I think we made our peace since then. She is a sweetheart and a definite social threat. I think I can trust her for now, at least. I'm not really into making alliances just because someone's a friend so I'll play this one by ear.
Gregg - Amber said he was rude to her tonight and I haven't had a chance to talk to him yet so I'll reserve judgment until I do. She has a tendency to overreact so I'll have to find out if he's really a jerk or not, lol.
Bobby Jon - Hmmm he likes Pandas and he likes to kill things. We had a pretty good chat last week so I'm not sad that he's on our tribe. He might be a little too enthusiastic but I only talked to him once. Also, I know he was talking to Amber during our challenge tonight so I think they may already know each other. Just makes me want to watch out for Amber that much more.
Mick - I spoke to him tonight for the first time. He seems nice and polite and he was active. So far so good.
Brenda - Not sure about her. She was very active and social on the board but something about her bugs me. I haven't talked to her yet, though.
Semhar - My favorite by far. I connected instantly with her and was really hoping we'd be on the same tribe. Looks like she was picked next to last since she didn't compete in the challenge. Hopefully she will be active because I really want to work with her.
Sophie - I really have no idea. If nothing else she may be an easy first vote if we have to go to tribal.
As far as people on the other tribes that I've talked to or know/know of:
Sandra - I know her from a couple of games I hosted ... a long long time ago. She doesn't know who I am, though. I do know Amber doesn't like her and would like her out of the game. I might want her in the game just for that reason.
Jay - I don't know him but I kind of know who he is. I also know Amber likes him. That's about it.
Aras - I love Aras! I know him from another site I used to play on and I did end up telling him who I am. Hopefully that won't come back to bite me. We were chatting and I just felt so bad pretending I didn't know him. He's a sweetheart - and a great competitor. He seemed a little put off that I didn't join his group but that may be me just overthinking. He said he'd give me suggestions about any of my tribemates which were from his group. I'd definitely want to work with him if we have a tribe swap or at the merge. That being said, I know he'll play the game and I can't really depend on him wanting to "help me" that much unless there's something in it for him. Definitely happy to have the chance to play a game with him again, though. A very savvy player.
Mike - I know him from another game I was in. He's a nice guy. He was very trustworthy in that game so that's good to know. He doesn't know who I am and I don't plan to tell him.
Misty - I know her from a few games. We aligned in one but she is a little hard to talk to. She can be a good ally but she's also a very good player. Since we didn't end up on the same tribe, I don't know if I'll end up having a chance to work with her. She doesn't know who I am, either.
Penner - Another person I know but I don't want him to know who I am. I kind of played up to him when I talked to him the other day. He likes to feel like he's in charge. He'll be semi-absent most of the time, I'm guessing. Interesting that he was Misty's third choice (obviously deals were made among the captains). If he knew who I was he'd probably want me out.
Tom - He was in our group challenge tonight and was fun. If we have a swap situation I feel like we have a little bit of a bond from that. Could come in handy.
Stephanie - This person, if it's who I think it is really likes me a lot. Too bad, since she doesn't know who I am. I haven't spoken to her in the game, yet, but I do kind of know her personality. She's very nice but I don't know if I'll have the chance to interact with her much.
Stephenie - Hmmm all I know about her is she plays lots of minis and won a game by being a clown with powers.
Tammy - I kind of wish she was on our tribe. She seemed cool in the challenge tonight. Also seems like she could be a strong player.
