Round 1: Tribe Analysis
I think the best way to do this is look at it one tribe at a time. I started with the Bayonoca tribe.
Bayonoca
Misty's confessionals, not super interesting, but straight forward and informative. In a game full of big players, attention seekers and villains, Misty will probably be a refreshing breath of fresh air, as she is very much a heroic player. Winning Captain puts her in the spotlight, but probably in a good way, they know she is a valuable and active member of their tribe.
Savage/Jolt to me is the quintessential "emotional player". This makes him VERY unpredictable. He can either be depressed and uninterested, and go along for the ride as a pawn, with no chance at winning or he can have a mood swing and randomly decide to make HUGE game changing move. I have seen both these sides to him and he probably has even more than that.
Thing is, I don't see Savage being mentioned to much in confessionals for alliances. His days could very well be numbered on Bayonoca.
Penner is the perfect choice for Greenday. He ALWAYS has a plan brewing and for him, the more complicated it is the better, because that makes him look smarter because he wants people to think he is a brilliant player. But a lot of times these plans fall through quite badly, like the Murder/Suicide he pulled on me in CBsurvivor, effectively voting himself and myself out in a double tribal council trying to make a "Big Move". He will think more about how grandiose a move is, and not iron out the details before implementing it.
This should make him interesting to watch, as he will either crash and burn or succeed brilliantly. However, like Savage, not a lot of alliance talk with him involved it would seem
Tom is the first person I EVER voted out of an ORG, in the very first ORG I ever played. If this is the same Tom I am thinking of, he was also the Final 2 with Randy in Bermuda Triangle, out of 49 players. This guy is a contender.
Tom seems to already have 2 people in his pocket, Misty and Matty, and is involved in the tribe's majority alliance of Steph L/V Misty and Tammy. I think Tom is in a position to do well here.
It looks like the Hobbit is pulling that whole "Gigantic persona in confessional but outwardly normal in the game" type routine. But Elyse did that better than any mortal could. Oh wait, my mistake, Steph V isn't human, she is a Hobbit. Hmm Succubus and Hobbit both in All-Stars? I am looking forward to this already.
Whatever....... ;D. I never got a chance to play with Erin because of Fabio's idiocy, I never knew how sassy she was. I love her random dissing people for stupid things they type on AIM, and can't wait to see how she plays the game.
For simplicity, think we can just call them Peter and Erin or Valencia and La Grossa? Everytime someone says "Stephenie" my brain hurts a little, especially with Amanda being "Stephenie La Grossa".
Honestly, I forgot Matty and needed to reread his confessional to remember anything significant to say about him. Besides his past relationship with Tom......snore. Matty is really not that interesting at all so far.
Tammy is definitely a careful and smart player. She seems to have already have built relationships with most of the tribe and has an alliance formed, with herself at the center, Tom, Valencia, La grossa and Misty. There is tension between Tom and Stephenie ( I forgot which one) in this alliance however, so it may not pan out as she hopes.
I kind of look at Tammy and Misty as 2 sides to the same coin, both are strong in the social aspects, but whereas Misty is a clear hero, Tammy is a villain.
Denise is gone unfortunately. As long as I have known her she has had issues with remaining active in these games. It is fitting however that Amanda Kimmel be the first player voted out.
That's it for Bayonoca, will modify and add my opinions on the other tribes later too.
SALCHICHA
Another logical villain type. I hope he plays in Matt's arrogant and egotistical character, I mean villains are fun to watch but a villain with a personality is even better.
Oh my, social butterfly! I'd like a Dolphin burger too, I wonder what one would taste like? Her social skills will get her into a good alliance and I think she will do quite well.
Her board is password protected, I will need to judge her based on what others say. Chelsea knows her as someone named Vaya. The vibe I am getting from most people is that Sandra is not the bottom of the totem pole, but she is expendable. According to Aras she is a drama queen, and Chelsea said she can be a real bitch but is sweet to the core. Sandra could turn out quite interesting.
Sydney wants to be a Hero...really bad. That's going to be quite a challenge, it should be fun watching her flirt with "should I cross this line" type dialogue with herself. She strikes me as very similar to Chelsea, the difference being Chelsea is more in tune with her villain side. But they are both 2 sides of the same blonde coin.
Good character choice for him. He is cool, calm relaxed and going for an UTR approach, throwing challenges and trying not to stand out as a threat. He is going to let the power players like Matt and Chelsea take the bull by the horns, and follow. Not a bad strategy.
I have personal thing against Aras players from a while back. Kiwi would understand. Aras is not doing as well as he thinks he is at all. Everyone saw through his attempt to get Shawna the HII clue, and now he put a huge target on his back for it. He strikes me as a bit of a control freak ( like telling Bobby Jon not to reveal who he was to anyone else after Sandra heard, as well as the Shawna incident). Aras had better pray for a tribeswap or that someone else goes inactive, or Sekou takes a big shit at the camp, he will not last very long on Salchicha.
Cochran doesn't waver on like "I am sort of a hero, I can be a villain. Well sometimes I'm a villain, I really don't know" type of thing. NOO, Cochran is a MOTHERFUCKING VILLAIN. He is allergic to heroism, it would cause an a anaphylactic shock to his system if a little bit of "Hero" were to enter his blood stream.
Unfortunately for him, Cochran players are always undervalued and placed on the outside of alliances, as he is here. Cochran has some built relationships made before the tribes were formed. If he can manage to make it to a tribal swap, he has a great shot at putting himself into a much better position than he is in right now.
He considers himself a hero:
Despite him having to leave for a few days, and probably not being able to contribute much of anything in AT least the next challenge, Mike I think has made a good enough impression that he will stick around.
The Groupchat he had for the challenge included everyone except Sekou, Cochran and Jay and he has agreed to make his bootlist not include any of them.
I guess we'll see how this plays out. Clumbze always has great confessionals ( except in my game, where everyone decided to boycott their confessional threads) and provides great insight into the game.
In a tribe where everyone is pretty much playing themselves, and there aren't a whole lot of huge personalities...in walks Sekou. Sekou. He reminds of the California Raisin Mascot:
Sekou is going to end up being a crash and burn type troll character I suspect. If he actually somehow makes the merge and jury, I would give up grinding forever.
CHORIZO
Good choice for an indecisive prick. I like how he proves he fits that by voting Shawna and then changing his mind and going with the Sophie vote. I really hope his fickle nature gets him in trouble and causes some drama.
"BJ is also part of our aliance but I plan to poison his icee and vote him out 1st chance I get. What a good little panda he is though"
1: Would you describe yourself as a Hero or a Villain?
"I would say that I am a hero."
That is what all I have to say about Amber.
Not much on her yet
Kinda boring so far! It is kinda funny how everyone is calling Bobby Jon BJ.
Also am I the only one that thinks Sekou is Rory?
If he is actually serious....yah.
This tribe is starting to seem a bit lamer than the rest.
Lame-O and Boring.
The succubus is training her. She is still a novice. The conversation list I have never seen before.... I guess we'll see more to come
Finally, at least someone somewhat interesting on this kinda dry and dull tribe. I hope she keeps the poems coming!
Majority alliance according to her seems to be Amber Chase Bobby Jon Shawna and herself.
